Here are some HQ guitar backing tracks to help you with your musical practice. These backing tracks are composed in a variety of musical styles and cover common chord progressions as found in Rock, Blues and Jazz music. I hope you enjoy them!
Guitar backing tracks are certainly not a replacement for working and performing with other musicians, but they do offer a great way to hone your playing skills. This is especially true if you live somewhere remote or it is hard to find other musicians to collaborate/practice with. I really hope you enjoy working with these tracks!
Here are a variety of standard song progressions (and harmonic sequences) that I hope you will find useful to practice with. You can hear (audition) the tracks in the MP3 player below and then download them using the small symbol to the right of the track. For copyright reasons I can’t supply the actual sheet music all for these compositions on the website, but I’m sure you can find copies either in a fake/real book or online.
I will be adding many more backing tracks over the coming weeks/months (including rock and blues backing tracks) so please do bookmark this page and check back soon to see what’s new?
