General guitar discussions and some free lessons too.
Many electric guitarists enjoy discussing their favourite instruments and gear and in some cases more than playing them it seems! These days the search for the ‘perfect tone’ seems very common among electric guitarists, as is the desire to buy new equipment, often called G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome).
On this guitar blog page, I will certainly share posts about any new gear and guitars I’ve found on my travels. I’ll also be posting some free guitar lessons. The lessons will range from jazz improvisation to heavy metal licks and just about everything in between!
Look out for posts with downloadable items like PDF files and MP3 audio tracks, which are usually located below the main text.
Some lesson posts will briefly cover musical topics that I explain in far greater detail in my online guitar lessons (in Rock or Jazz styles).
I will categorize the topics on this guitar blog page to make it easier to find posts. I hope you find these entries helpful, and if you want to know more about any topics, feel free to reach out via the Contact page.
